ADVANTAGES

Function: The G 96-1 Cable Granulator is a completely self-contained one-man “processing plant” that recovers the conductor material from wire and cable.

Process: The cable is fed into the machine at a rate of 9 meters (30 feet) per minute where a series of cutters shears and slices it into small segments. These segments are moved through a number of mechanical separators where the high value conductor material is quickly and effectively sifted and separated from the insulation materials. Plastic insulation and other waste material is moved by an extractor fan and collected in a container.

Versatile: Technically and economically suited for small as well as larger operations where scrap wire and cable is available. The machine size enables flexible operation locations like demolition sites, recycling yards, manufacturing plants or even as a mobile plant.

Low cost operating: This one man/one machine has a unique ability to process large quantities of cable that yields extremely clean high-value conductor granulate and effectively separates the insulation materials for recycling. Depending on the volume of conductor materials in each cable the machine will produce approximately 150kg (300 lbs.) of pure conductor granulate per hour.

Result: The “final product” is an extremely clean granulate that can be sold directly to the smelter as a high value material. No other processing is required.
