  Concrete Shear

Reduces large reinforced-concrete sections quieter, faster, and more cost effectively than hydraulic tools

ADVANTAGES
Value and Speed: The preferred tool for dismantling concrete structures and downsizing crusher feed stock. Cycling 12 to 14 times per minute, this tool is faster and costs a fraction of, comparable hydraulic units.

Maximum Cracking Force and Precision: Three or four inch thick replaceable teeth focus power, create precise dismantling control and provide superior visibility. Using the Concrete Shear, smaller excavators can often do the job of larger machines using hydraulic tools.

Versatility: In addition to concrete processing, a set of steel shearing blades located at the pivot throat cut pipe and reinforcing steel.

Tough: Thicker manufactured material sections together with the use of high tensile steel in fabrication gives the jaws of the Concrete Shear greater stiffness and durability. Enlarged two-into-three pivot group allows for greater jaw rigidity and better load distribution.

Low-cost maintenance: The Concrete Shear’s teeth will work harden and are long lasting, only requiring replacement approximately every two years, so no hard facing is required. Threaded, four way indexable shear blades are used for maximum wear and easy shimming.

More Power-Faster Change: The Power- Positive attachment coupling system creates 25% more power and allows fast changeovers to OEM buckets and other A-Ward attachments such as Re-bar Shear, Rail/Wire Shear, Grapple Jaw, Steel Shear, Pulveriser Jaw, and Sieve Rakes.

APPLICATIONS
Demolition:
Excels in primary demolition of bridge decking, parking structures, concrete foundation slab, floor slab, beams and footings. For fast controlled dismantling and lowering to ground level of multi-storied reinforced concrete structures.

Concrete Recycling: Use in place of hydraulic breaker for faster and quieter preparation of oversize concrete for crusher feedstock. Simultaneously downsize concrete and cut rebar or stranded cable in pre-cast concrete structures.

Sorting: Point to point grabbing allows for precise material handling in sorting applications.

THE A-WARD SOLUTION
At A-Ward Attachments we pride ourselves on providing economical and comprehensive attachment solutions for today’s demolition contractors and recyclers. Our patented Power-Positive attachment coupling system allows the operator to change to OEM Buckets and other A-Ward attachments in less than one minute.

Steel Shear: Excels in primary demolition of modern steel buildings. Process light and medium gauge scrap faster and more efficiently.

Grapple Jaw: The severe duty Grapple Jaw features AR 400 construction, thicker skins, and multiple box section anti-torsion stiffeners. Performs in the harshest demolition and scrap handling environments.
