ADVANTAGES - ALLIGATOR SHEAR

RJ 14 - 50 - General Use:
With 14” long cutting blades and 50 tonnes of cutting force, the 14-50 is a perfect fit when a medium range shear
is required. This general purpose shear is best suited for heavy aluminium extrusions and lighter grades of ferrous products. The guard on the 14-50 incorporates a locking bar for materials that are prone to lift when being cut.

RJ 26 - 30 - General Use:
With 26” long cutting blades and 30 tonnes of cutting force, the 26-30 is an ideal general purpose cleaning shear,
best suited to light gauge ferrous and nonferrous materials. With its fast cycle times, the 26-30 is a very productive machine. The 26-30 is also ideally suited for onsite cutting of reinforcing steels including light mesh up to 500mm wide. Will also cut up to 20mm mild steel round bar and 10mm stainless plate.

RJ 26 - 80 - Heavy Use:
With 26” long cutting blades and 80 tonnes of cutting force, the 26-80 is ideal for cutting heavy metal. The 26-80 will cut 20mm stainless plate, heavy ferrous plate tube and 45mm mild steel round bar. The 26-80 also has an adjustable hydraulic hold down arm as standard.

RJ 26 - 60 - Medium to Heavy Use:
With 26” long cutting blades and 60 tonnes of cutting force, the 26-60 is a medium to heavy duty unit with extremely durable qualities. It also features adjustable hydraulic hold down arms for heavy duty applications. This versatile shear has been developed over a number of years and is specifically designed for use in the scrap recycling field. Hundreds of units are now in service and many have given ten or more years of trouble free and reliable service.

FEATURES
Efficiency: The RJ Series, foot controlled Electro-Hydraulic Shears are an industry staple. Hundreds of units are now in service and have provided ten or more years of reliable service. Each model utilizes a dual hydraulic pump, providing high volume-low pressure for general usage, and automatically switching to the low volume-high pressure pump when more shearing force is required. A straight top blade and serrated bottom blade traps material at the desired cutting position, increasing cutting efficiencies. All models have an approximately five
second dry cycle time.

Safety: Features include all standard safety guards as required by OSHA and foot pedal control that automatically returns to a fully open position when the pedal is released. The remote foot pedal allows operators
to position themselves comfortably and at a safe distance during operation for maximum efficiency and safety. The remote pedal is conveniently stored on its keeper under the shear cowling.

Mobility: Two forklift pockets accessed from the side of the shear allow for easy transport. An additional lifting eye is also provided.
